Can I edit Ebird mobile tracking map?
I use ebird mobile app in the field. I have been known (frequently actually) to forget to tell the app to stop tracking when I'm done bird watching. I drive home and when I go to post the checklist I realize what has happened. It is easy enough to estimate and correct the length of time and distance traveled, but when I look at the google tracking map that gets created, it shows the route all the way back to my house which may be miles away.
Is there any way to correct this map?

If you open the tracking map before you submit the checklist, you can edit your route by clicking on the icon in the lower right. It will allow you to backtrack back to where you actually stopped birding. Note that it only works before you submit your checklist and you can only edit the end of your track, not the start.

Thanks very much, Dave.
