"Trips" on eBird Mobile
Could someone please explain the "Trips" function on eBird Mobile? I was looking at my trips and all I see are a bunch of numbers that I can't make sense of, like "1 Golden Whistler" "750 Snow Goose" "3 Black Swan" "2 Streak-breasted Scimitar Babbler." I'm not sure if these numbers count as observations, or total number of birds recorded, because I know I've seen more than one Golden Whistler and I know I've seen more than 750 Snow Geese but I don't think I've reported them 750 times. Could someone clear this up for me? Thank you,

Those are the number of individuals of each species you have reported since the the trip functions were reset. One totals your sightings for the day and one summarizes all your sightings since you downloaded the app. The “Trip Summary” section totals all your sightings for any dates you choose. You can change the dates by clicking on the dates at the top of the screen.
