I have a question about list for a day. I am not a birder I take photos of birds as a hobby. I read each list each day to see what has been seen. Here in is the problem when a bird is listed a seen - was on the ground or flying . For example a list may list a Glossy Ibis and the number seen. How can I tell where the bird was seen an in what circumstance. Also can we contact an ebirder directly and if so how can it be done.

Hi Frank,
Unless the ebirder provides notes in the list somewhere, there is no way to tell where the listed birds were seen. It can be frustrating because Bombay Hook covers a large area. Unfortunately, there is no way to contact an ebirder unless they have submitted a personal profile with contact information. If the submitters name is in blue lettering you can try clicking on it to see. Good luck in your photographic endeavors.
