what kind of bird i this?

I just found this bird April 11, 2019 in the Los Angeles CA area, specifically in Elysian Valley CA 90039 at the Los Angeles River Flood Control Channel, seems to be a Black-and -White Warbler, colors match that specie but I check and they don't use the PFW to migrate/breed-non breeding area, I don't know how to upload a pic in this section but I can always email you guys the only two pics I was able to took, or let me know who this works,
Thanks !

Jabz, you should try the ABA Facebook page
Good luck!

In addition to the ABA Facebook page already mentioned, I recommend the iNaturalist site for help in identifying birds. The reviewers are very helpful and enjoy the challenge of identifying birds in photographs; they especially appreciate if you have more than 1 photo of the bird, and of course accuracy increases with details...specific location, time, date, etc. (The site is useful for flowers and critters, too).
