Why one species in Colombia is considered rare in one place when there are many records in the regio

Hi how are , I have two questions with the review process in Colombia. First I have one species (Phaethornis anthophilus Checklist S32569863) which I provided clear photo and song and I uploaded three years ago!! and none has answered or reviewed the species; there is review in Colombia?. second: I dont understand why one species is considered rare in one place (Ara militaris in cauca river in antioquia Liborina) Checklist S52494038 , when there are many records in many localities less of 2 o 1km (buritica basically same location?) and also it has been reported in similar months? there is a mistake?? It must to be?. Who can answer me these questions? and soon? because as in the case of the hummingbird a long wait has not produced any review of the record.. Thank you so much in advance for the collaboration..

Andres, you could try to get in touch with the eBird reviewers for your region e.g. on the eBird page for Colombia, many of the top birders listed there are eBird reviewers for different regions within the country - you can look at their public profile to find who they are, and many have email addresses to contact them.
All eBird reviewers volunteer their time to do the reviewing so they may just not have had the time to catch up with all the checklists !
Hope this helps!

I had the same problem until I contacted the local reviewer. I hope you keep submitting checklists to ebird.
