Mute swan of a different color.

On a pond near my home a pair of mute swans nest every year. The past 3 years none of the young survived. This year of the 6, 2 survived. One is all white and the other is kind of tan. I’ve seen he white one fly but not the other yet. I can’t seem to find out why the one is different color. Is it late to change? Or a mutation that will stay with it? I can send a photo f needed.
Thanks. Wayne.

I've seen a gray Mute Swan juv. Perhaps it is a kind of pigment deformity.
