eBirder of the Year 2017

I have asked this question multiple times via email to eBird and on their FB page. Now I have decided to ask the community...

Who won the 2017 eBirder of the Year challenge of submitting a checklist a day for the year? I saw that for 2018 eBird is doing this again but why waste my efforts if they are not going to have winners?

Anyone out there have a clue??

It can take a while for them to post it. In the case of my sister (eBirder of the month for Febuary 2017), they wrote her a congratulations email in the first week of March, and asked her to write something and send them a few of her pictures. It took her a few days to do this, and for other busier people it could take a few weeks, and after he sent it to eBird it took them a few days to publish it.
Pretty much, people get busy and take a while to get around to doing things. So before the eBirder of the Year sends them their mini-bio, eBird can't do anything.
