Does eBird distinguish between the Eurasian Teal and the Green-winged Teal?

Also, is it possible to see a list of all the birds in the database with their scientific names and or search for specific species? Thanks

yes, and yes.
Yes, fpr the teal: select 'show subspecies' (on the right side towards the top when entering checklists) and then start typing green-winged teal / anas crecca (american) or green winged teal (european). The same applies to (all) other subspecies.
For the names: in your preferences, you can set the language of birds you want to be displayed: for example, English, French, scientific name (latin) or a combination. For example you can set: English AND scientific names. Once selected, in this case all databases will be searchable under both english and latin name.
