Species from submitted Checklists not being added to Life List.
I'm hoping someone can tell me what I'm missing here - several observations that I've submitted don't show up on the observation summary. They contained species that, several days later, have not been added to my Life List. Any suggestions for a fix would be much appreciated!

Which species are they specifically? Things like muscovy duck and greylag or swan goose will not be added to a life list because they are considered domestic variants unless you specifically went out of your way to list the native version, which would have almost certainly been flagged for confirmation and be subject to review (but in that case they should still have been added to your personal list).
If they are normal species expected for your area that are not being counted I'm not sure why. It would be best to contact eBird support through email and ask for help there.

Thanks! It was a Common Redpoll, confirmed via photos on the eBird Rare Bird Alert page. But the info on domestics is good to know as well. I will contact eBird.

That's strange. Common Redpoll should be counted for a life list, even if it is rare or not. Best of luck, it could just be a glitch, it seems other people are having things not show up for whatever reason since the new year. Hopefully it will get sorted out soon.
