How to get in contact with someone about hummingbird

My Son found a baby hummingbird on the ground last Monday after a storm the little bird was in distress so he brought it to me to watch over it untill she got stronger she is stronger so I tried to let her go on Saturday I put her on a bird feeder and watched her. She sat there for a good ten minutes then the other birds started attacking her poking her on the head and looked like pulling her feathers on her head so she did finally fly off she went about twenty feet landed in tall grass and got stuck. So I brought her back in because I was afraid cats would get her. She is flying but hitting the walls I try to keep her close to the feeder I have for her. I am afraid she is not ready to fly into trees to keep her safe because she flies straight down but I can't keep her in cage as you know but I don't think her wings are strong enough either. I also can't keep her flying in my home what she can fly that is. You can tell she wants to fly just not sure why she can't really take off. Do you know what I can do or who can help her. Please let me know if there is anything I can do or if there is someone I can take her to that knows how to care for her properly?

Presumably you are in the USA (?) Contact your state wildlife agency. DNR, fish and game department and ask for a list of certified wildlife rehabilitators in your area. Contact one of them, ASAP Good Luck, to you and the hummer.
