Is there a way on eBird to eliminate species I've already seen?

I can easily see species not on my life list (actually any list I designate) for a given hotspot on a mobile app (BirdsEye) on my phone, but I haven't found a way to filter out birds that I've seen on eBird. What I'd like is to have:
1. At a minimum, have a checkbox to toggle on/off birds on my life list for the illustrated checklist report. I want to see the birds that I need to study before visiting.
2. Ideally, I'd like all the markers on the map to subtract the birds that I've seen so that I could see hotspots/regions that I need to explore. I realize that this is a heavy computational task, but it could be implemented with restrictions (state level or smaller; county level or smaller; max 500 locations; etc.). This would be HUGE for trip planning.

Does eBird Target Species tool fit your needs? It's on the Explore Data tab.

Thanks Mike. The Target Species tool is just that; it's great for targeting a species. I'm not there yet. I have many more species not seen than seen, so I'm trying to target locations which will give me the best chance of seeing birds I haven't seen before. Thanks for the tip though.
