Pied Wagtail

We are walking Hadrian's Wall path and have seen lots of pied wagtails, which is a common bird according to our RSPB bird book, but it doesn't show up as a species or subspecies ebird. It definitely looks different from a white wagtail.

Any thoughts or insights you can share with me?

From what I can see it is a sub-species of White Wagtail.
I found it listed on eBird as White Wagtail (British) - Motacilla alba yarelliii

Thanks for the info--I didn't notice that listing, but it jives with how the pied wagtail is described elsewhere.
