Is there anyway to organize the data by cities instead of counties?

I am an Intern at UC Davis and I want to organize the list of species by city instead of counties. For example I want to explore the biodiversity of birds specifically in Fresno versus Fresno County. Is there any way I can format the data to achieve this goal.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Max

Max,

We believe there is no easy manner at present to sort data as you suggest. However, if you are a researcher, you can contact eBird directly (this forum is just for informal queries and nobody at eBird regularly views these entries). Try lower right on the Help page for social media options and email.

The techies can probably download data in almost any format you wish.

Otherwise you can Explore Data through the Species Maps and gather individual submissions. Then do a lot of data manipulation.

Good birding,

meg
