Possible to view a list of checklists for a certain species in a given region?
This would be something like the species maps, but instead of a map it would be a date-sortable list of all checklists with that species in a specified region. It would be great to be able to easily see where recent sightings of a particular species are occurring in your region. Thanks.

I don't think there's any way to do that, unless there's an unofficial program that uses eBird data to create a list.
I thought perhaps www.hotspotbirding.com would have that option, but it looks like they only have a similar option that doesn't link to specific checklists.

I used this to get Snow Bunting data for Montana last fall. Comes in a zipped .tar file. A bit slow & tedious and was truncated several months before my request date. Mike Lesnik, Lewistown

Go to Explore Data and click on 'Download Data' (very bottom of the page).
Had forgotten that the above link took me to this 'short-cut' Mike

Thanks for the input. I had been using the raw data downloads, but like Mike mentioned, they don't have the most recent data, and can be a few months out of date.
