I have a bird checklist from my visit to the Florida Keys in 2014. I didn't realize I hadn't entered it! I want to put the birds in for my lifelist, but I don't know which key and the exact date. I don't want to confuse ebird, but I want a record. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

you can enter this checklist as follows.
-Location : use Monroe County (FL) at a County Level. To do so, click on Submit observation, then do NOT 'choose from your locations' nor 'find it on a map' but scroll down until you reach ''Select an entire city, county, state, or country'' and click on it.
-date : use 1/1/1900 (this is the conventional date for historical records with no data)
-put in the comments -not in the date- the year 2014 of whatever additional info you remember
-answer 'no' to the question 'are you reporting all birds?'

Thanks so much Toni!

Add checklist comments that make it clear that you are submitting a baseline life list.
Once you have submitted the checklist, click on the option to "Hide from eBird Output" (shown on the right side of the checklist page).
