US count went up by 1 but the last new record is the same? How???

Count was 1161 after the Black-backed Oriole was added. Now the count is 1162 with no additional new bird species?!?

It means a previously submitted record was validated. The oriole was added after the mystery bird so that is why it is the newest edition. We have 311 species in our area and I have no idea which is the 311th - it was some historical record that was validated; our top eBirder found some time to add his old records.

Thanks Zhel.
I assumed that might be the case but wasn't sure because of not seeing what was added. Also still not sure why my Mandarin Duck was not added to our State and Parish lists when I submitted a picture along with a description of its location. Recently saw a new record accepted for our State of another exotic with no picture submitted. Still puzzled over this one.
