recording species

Hello,
I am a new eBird user and have just entered some recent sightings by checking off species and giving some details and clicking on submit, but my record still says 0 species? Am I missing a step?

It can take some time (24 hours?) for data you've entered to show up in other places in eBird.
It is sometimes possible to force the information to update. For example, if I enter something in a Yard or Patch list, I go to the Yard or Patch, click on EDIT, then, without making any changes, click on Save Patch or Save Yard. Then I see that my Yard or Patch data is up-to-date.

Numbers should show up immediately on your "My eBird" page and your checklists should be viewable in "Manage My Observations" accessed from "My eBird" as soon as you complete them.

If they aren't there immediately, you have a problem.
