If I delete the EBird app and reinstall it will I lose all my saved lists?
Since I got the newest iPhone I cannot submit checklists on my phone that I generate. It keeps telling me that I changed my password. And I can't get to settings in EBird to fix it. I had saved the password it in the EBird app. So I would not have to enter it every time. Someone on the internet told me to delete the app and reinstall it, but I am afraid that will delete all my data and lists. I have been able to add lists someone shares with me. Just cannot submit the ones that I generate. Please help. I am a new EBird user.

If you have submitted the lists into eBird, then they will be saved onto the sight and can only be deleted permanently from the online website. But if you haven't submitted the checklists, then they will be permanently deleted.
If you reinstall the app, the checklists will be deleted from your phone, but you can still access them one the website. And also your Recent Locations list will be reset.
It will do the same thing if you delete the app data from your phone storage settings, at least for Android.

The checklists on my phone and the website don't match. It states that I only submitted 11checklists, but I know I submitted at least 20. My phone has more checklists and taxa listed than the website. When I try to submit my current checklist it tells me I changed my password. When I try to Change my password, it gives me another error message: http status 405-request method post not supported, the specified http method is not allowed for the requested resource. This is so frustrating. Think I will go back to keeping a paper list!
