How do you enter, say, "Pycnonotus sp." if you're reasonably certain as to genus but not species?

How do you enter, say, "Pycnonotus sp." if you're reasonably certain as to genus but not species? I am currently entering historical field checklists for my trips to Asia, and have records for, say, unknown species of bulbuls (genus Pycnonotus, many of which are similar to each other and unless carefully looked at). This also applies to a number of other groups. I've noticed on others' checklists that this option is employed, but I can find out how to access it. Cheers, Rainer.
