How can I tell when/if my rarity is confirmed?
I get the daily rare bird email alerts and often a rarity is reported with (CONFIRMED) next to its name, even though the report was made only a few hours before. Sometimes when I report one and even attach a picture it will say it is not yet confirmed. Going into my profile I can see a list on my latest pictures and there is a yellow triangle with an ! inside it next to my photo saying it is still not confirmed, even days/weeks later. If there is no photo I have no other way of checking my sighting's status. Is there any way to see when my sighting has been looked at by a regional reviewer and been confirmed? For example I saw a snowy egret two months ago but it was too far to get a good picture with my camera, but my checklist was still flagged as it is a rare species here. I still don't know if my sighting was confirmed yet. Many others saw the bird too and got pictures so there is no doubt it was present.

You can tell by if it is on the eBird output (range maps, region pages, ect).

Thank you, I guess that's the only way then. It takes a little more legwork but at least it's something. I was hoping there was a status page I could check up on but if not that's okay, I don't get rarities that much to make manually checking a big inconvenience.
