"There was an error submitting your checklist"

I have gotten this message on 2 occasions differing widely in space and time. My phone signal had 4 bars and there is no explanation what the error is and no way to save the data. All data fields appear to be filled out appropriately. Help, please.

I've had that happen to me a few times, but if I tap submit again it generally works.
I'm afraid that wasn't too helpful.

Paul and Caleb,

Lots of options for this to occur.

We have had most of our problems when by some manner we had two checklists open at once (trying to copy comments for rare birds from one entry to another for example).

Also be careful on Tuesdays when the database is most often updated and otherwise manipulated (eBird sometimes reminds us of this, but not often enough).
