Unidentified stork

I was in Dominican Republic a week ago and birding on a golf course in Santiago de los Caballeros where I saw a juvenile or immature stork. It looked very much like an imm Maguari, which I've seen in Argentina and Uruguay, but the only stork listed for DR is the Wood Stork. No photos of these match the one I saw. Any clues? Is there a way of posting a photo here?

I feel a little embarrassed to admit the bird in question turned out to be a Limpkin. I've done some more thorough checking and found it. I had previously assumed it was a juv Maguari because they were together the first time I saw one. I'm from Australia, so not as familiar with new world birds as I would otherwise be.
