What if I get errors when using latitude and longitude coordinates?

In North America outside of the far western Aleutians, all values for longitude must be preceded by the negative symbol (-).  Thus a typical value for longitude in North American would look like this: -32.45674.  In South America, latitude likewise is negative south of the equator.  Be aware of the need to have the (-) symbol in order for our application to accurately map your location. The best way to ensure an accurate location is to use the "Find it on a map" option and then put the coordinates into the 'Search' window at the top of the map. This will zoom the map in to your location, and then you can click on the map to plot your exact location. Using the map view allows you to ensure that your location is in the right place.
